Fan Mail
Got married July 4th. New husband had severe PTSD episode that night. He immediately asked for help to keep it from happening again. So our wedding night and honeymoon have been dealing with that. I am so proud of him for requesting help. But I need help for me to not build up resentment that what was expected to be the most romantic weeks of our relationship have been spent seeing therapists and generally doing whatever he needs to feel supported. He's not in a place to support me at all, though he makes sure to express his love and appreciation for me. I adore him and am so immeasurably proud of him for getting help. I need to know how to support me while all the focus is on him, instead of the "us" I was expecting.
